Obergurgl-Hochgurgl (1,800 - 3,080 m) is Austria's highest parish village.

Where ski lifts end in other regions, the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski area begins.

Obergurgl-Hochgurgl offers snow-guarantee from mid November to late April. Most of the 110 km of immaculate ski runs take you right to your hotel's doorstep. Since 1998, the ski areas of Obergurgl and Hochgurgl are linked by the "Top-Express" mountain gondola. From 1999 onwards some 90% of all slopes are equipped with snow-making systems. Therefore Obergurgl-Hochgurgl is said to be the only ski resort where snow is always guaranteed. And the ski lift company really deserves its name: Top Quality Skiing.

Besides the state-of-the-art technologies and a perfect infrastructure, the 420 locals care about the preservation of unspoilt nature, according to their maxim: Quality not quantity counts!
