The mountains & glaciers
Surrounding mountains such as the Wurmkogel & Gurgler Ferner will invite

bike tours. Leisurely hikers will follow the numerous alpine hiking trails
through gentle hill landscapes and let the summer wind tickle their noses with
the sweet scent of gentian and edelweiss.
Thanks to its unique altitude,
the Chalet Montana de luxe is among one of the few pollen-free holiday regions
in Austria. Here, even allergy sufferers will enjoy alpine sports to the
full. A special highlight is the Obergurgler Zirbenwald theme trail and the grenade hike.

The Piccard Suspension Bridge
An absolute highlight is
the Piccard Bridge which spans the ravine of the Gurgler Ferner glacier at a
height of 2,465 metres. From July to the end of September, hikers can prove
their courage on the 142 m long floating suspension bridge.
Nordic Walking Trail
In an incredible height of 1,930 m
lies Europe’s highest Nordic High Walking Trail! Here you will enjoy your
favourite sport in an entirely different way. If you like to keep fit and
consider the topics health & high altitude cure to be important then you
will surely get your money’s worth on this trail.
